    Where to go:

    • On Wednesday, July 22, check in at National Design Centre (NDC) between 14:30 and 18:30 (we are using 24-hour time for the schedule. So, 14:30 = 2:30 PM, etc.)
    • On Wednesday we are hosting a Welcome Sketchwalk at 16:30, to be held at Purvis Street.
    • After the Sketchwalk, join us for a Welcome Reception at 18:45 at the NDC.
    • Schedule information for Thursday, Friday and Saturday can be found here on our site, and has been updated with new information.
    • More information about meeting locations will be available to you when you check in at the Symposium.

    Our co-host, Temasek Polytechnic, is offering their learning space, an apartment block at Global Connect Village (GCV) at 21 Tampines Avenue, Singapore 529757, for participants at S$250 (approximately $185 USD) per apartment per day, with a maximum limit of 5 persons per unit.

    Each unit has 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms with 2 beds each, and 1 bedroom with 1 bed, for a total of 5 beds), living, dining, kitchen, utility room, and 2 bathrooms. The price is offered per apartment, not per person.

    Early Bird Registration opens March 23, 16:00 GMT. Early Bird registration prices are approximately 10% less than the Standard prices. A limited number of spots for Workshops and Activities passes will be available for Early Bird registration.

    Programming and faculty details will be announced on March 31.

    As we did for last year’s Symposium, we are offering passes at three levels: Workshops, Activities, and Sketching. The Activities pass includes lectures, demos, and larger faculty-led group drawing activities. The Workshops pass includes access to all of those activities as well as workshops with small class sizes and individualized instruction. The Sketching pass is for those who only want to meet up and sketch.

    Standard Registration begins April 11. At that time, all Workshops Pass registrants (including those who registered early) will be able to select workshops.

    Registering early guarantees you a pass at a discounted price but does not offer early or priority Workshop selection. Total space is limited for Workshops and Activities passes but not for the Sketching pass. Read more…
