Activity description

The participants will get to see and take part in various activities at Global Community Day 2015 (GCD) at Glocal Connect Village (GCV) in Temasek Polytechnic (TP). The activities will be excellent subjects to sketch. For example, in the past, we saw ambassadors from Kazakhstan, Spain and also Minister of Womens’ Affairs from Cambodia. Ambassador from Spain was giving a cooking lesson in his chef attire with Spanish flag as background. There were also Arabic tent with local coffee and sweets, French wine and dine etiquette class, cultural dances by Japanese Club, Indian dance and the energetic Malay Dikir Barat – a traditional musical performance just to name a few.

Learning goals

GCD has been celebrated as an annual event for over a decade.
