Travel Tips
We’ve gathered some information about traveling to Singapore to help you plan your trip.
Southeast Asia is a subregion of about 4.5 million square kilometers, south of China, east of India, west of New Guinea and north of Australia. Singapore is that tiny red dot you see, and it’s easy to reach, and to get around and stay for a week. It’s a very well-connected city-state. It is quite tiny, but surrounded by big neighbors with even bigger hearts. Malaysia, which Singapore was once part of; the Indonesian archipelago; the Philippines; Thailand, Vietnam, Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia. It is all close enough to hop over for a day or two to explore what was the East Indies.
Important Travel Information
Before you go, please be aware that you may need a visa, and that each country has different rules. This website lists countries and regions that require a visa to enter Singapore, but you should conduct your own research to verify this information. All travelers to Singapore must meet these entry requirements, according to Singapore’s Immigration & Checkpoints Authority.
